Formed in September 2022, St. Mary Anne’s Quilters is a group of quilters dedicated to providing comfort to parishioners and others in the community.
They meet weekly to create lap quilts of all kinds, colors and sizes. Requests for these are higher than they ever imagined and they are working hard to meet the demand. Upon completion, they are distributed at the discretion of the rector, priest in charge or chairman of the pastoral committee.
In addition, each year they create a large queen-sized bed quilt to raffle off at the annual St. Mary Anne’s Garden Market. Proceeds provide the group with materials to continue this comforting ministry.
