As good stewards of our God-given gifts, we pledge to support our parish. So, on Sunday, October 28th, in thanksgiving to God, we complete our pledge cards with a dollar amount that reflects both a sacrifice and a generous and thankful spirit. We turn in those pledge cards during our Offertory.
Monies pledged help us formulate a 2019 budget, so we can meet our operating expenses such as salaries, insurances, utilities, etc., and fuel our mission and ministries not only for this age but for future generations.
Our generous pledges are a a loving response to a generous and loving God and demonstrate our commitment to Him and the Church.
Our Annual St. Francis Day Blessing of the Animals will be on Sunday, October 7th at both our 8:00 and 10:00AM services. You and your family pets are invited to this special service that is held in our Parish Center! Join in this fun tradition and invite your family and friends to attend, too! Did you keep your shy or unruly pet at home last year and they weren’t blessed?
This year, we will bless them on our big screen! Send us your favorite photo of your pet; better yet, a photo of you and your pet. We will display the photos during our blessing service.
Please remember to include your pet’s name. Send photos to Karen Schaeffer or bring to the church by the October 1st deadline.
