The Christmas flower envelopes will be placed in the pews on Sunday, December 4th. If you do not have an envelope and wish to donate, you may mail a check in any amount made payable to St. Mary Anne’s and marked “Christmas Flowers”. Be sure to include the name(s) of those you would like to remember, honor or for whom you are thankful. In order to have names included in the Christmas bulletin, please respond by Monday, December 19th by noon.
Angels and Shepherds are Needed!
Christmas Pageant, December 24, at 5:00PM. Calling all angels and shepherds! Would you like your child or grandchild to participate in this year’s Christmas pageant? If so, please sign-up them up ASAP. Practice begins during Sunday School in December. See Rachelan about practices and costumes.
Christmas Open House
Parish-Wide Christmas Open House, 2-6:00 pm, Saturday, December 17th: Everyone in the parish is invited to a the home of Robert & Dru Torregrossa for holiday cheer and fellowship! Just drop in and say hello, and have a cup of tea and a bite to eat. No sign up is necessary. This will be the second year that the Torregrossa’s have opened their home for this hospitable event. Contact the church office for directions.
New Logo
Did you notice our new logo? Our iconic bell tower, along with traditional Episcopal Church colors, are now part of our new look. We will start to incorporate this logo in all of our written and online material, so we will have a uniform look and brand.
Family Advent Wreath Making
Family advent wreath making will be Sunday, November 27th during the Adult Education Hour. This is a St. Mary Anne’s tradition that goes back more than 30 years.
Please bring clippers or pruners. Don’t forget your wreath bases, pins, and candle holders from previous years. All supplies will be provided for everyone who needs them. St. Mary Anne’s Flower committee members will be on hand to assist anyone who has not made a wreath before.
It takes a lot of greens to make a wreath! Bring 4-inch clippings of evergreens from your yard or woodland. Suggested are: boxwood, arborvitae, herbs, cedar, standing pine, Japanese holly, mountain laurel, etc. to share will all. Donations will be accepted to help with the cost.
