Our Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 28th following our 9:00 a.m. Combined Service. This is one of the more major events in our life as a parish. We discuss our life together; review the past year and our future. The budget for the 2018 fiscal year is also presented and discussed.
January Coffee House
January Coffee House will be on Saturday, January 20th in our Parish Center. We welcome Kevin Neidig, a talented performer with great skills on the guitar, banjo and mandolin, paired with a voice that is equally at home with traditional bluegrass and the latest pop number on the radio.
Doors open at 6:45 and the show starts at 7:30. $10.00 is the suggested donation.
Organize in the New Year!
As you clear out some belongings and organize in the New Year, please keep in mind that we need:
- Old ink cartridges from your home printers. We are collecting used ink printing cartridges for discounted office supplies. This recycling effort helps off-set our office supply expenses. Please drop them off in the rear lobby.
- Gently used kid’s books for local school children
- Used prescription eyeglasses for the Lion’s Club
Train Day Success!
We had more than 200 people walk through our Parish Center doors to admire and play with the trains, and eat lunch!
The Mission Committee raised over $1700.00 from this effort, and those dollars will be sent to The St. Vincent School for the Handicapped in Haiti.
Special thanks to organizers Linda Gibeck and George Kaplan.
Cookie Walk Success!
Wow! We sold dozens upon dozens of Christmas cookies at our Annual Christmas Cookie Walk! It was a fabulous success not only for our ECW and church but also for our vendors! Thanks to everyone who baked, decorated, participated, and purchased. Proceeds from this annual event benefit many of the ECW’s outreach endeavors.
