It is now time to remove all Christmas decorations from our churchyard. Our deadline for removal is January 14. We will dispose remaining decorations after that date. To maintain the historic integrity of our churchyard, we respectfully remind everyone that artificial flowers and decorations are not allowed.

Upcoming Annual Meeting
We will have a Combined Service at 10:00AM on Sunday, January 29th. Following the service, we will gather in the Parish Center for our Annual Church Meeting.
We encourage all parishioners to attend this important meeting. At that time, we will vote for Vestry Members and convention delegates, review our 2022 Annual Report, vote for the Mission Committee budget, and present our budget for the new year.
Vestry Nominations
As we approach the Annual Meeting on January 29th, we need to focus our attention on the election of new vestry members.
The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church’s mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances. vestry members are elected at the annual parish meeting. The presiding officer of the vestry is the rector.
We have one vestry vacancy to be filled, along with two incumbents seeking another term. Rotating off vestry is Donna Harrity. We are grateful for her service and thank her for her commitment. Jennifer Swoboda and George Balog, are our incumbents seeking another full-term. Mac McMullen is seeking his first term.
We have listed our three nominees with bios, so please review prior to the Annual Meeting. Other nominations may be made from the floor, but those nominations must be members who meet the qualifications of eligibility as defined in Article V, Section 1 of our Bylaws and must have the consent and approval of the member nominated. As is St. Mary Anne’s policy, all nominations from the floor must be submitted two weeks prior to the Annual Meeting in order that they may be verified as to the qualifications of eligibility as defined in our Bylaws, their willingness to serve, and in order that their biographical information may be presented to the parish in advance of the Annual Meeting.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter, and to those who are willing to serve.
