Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

pancakesAs in years past, we will enjoy yummy pancakes the night before our Lenten season begins. Join us for a pancake feast on Tuesday, February 13th from 5:00 to 6:30PM in the Parish Hall.
Donations of syrup, butter, or pancake mix (with water only) before Feb 10th would be welcome!
The cost of this event is a free-will offering to benefit our Youth Group. Questions? See Janice Flood or Christy Sadler.

 

Annual Valentine Luncheon

valentineOur Annual Valentine Luncheon will be held on Sunday, Feb. 11th, after the 10:00 service. Bring your sweetie, or not!

February Coffee House

201802 February Coffee HouseOn Saturday, February 17, Kate Macleod will return to our North Elk Coffee House stage in our Parish Center. Kate is a wonderful folk musician, who plays guitar and fiddle and sings beautiful original songs.
Doors open at 6:45PM; show starts at 7:30PM. Suggested donation is $10.00 at the door. Check out Kate’s website.

Cemetery Committee Request

Many have honored the memory of loved ones by decorating grave sites for the Christmas season. We ask that that family and friends remove seasonal decorations at this time.

Please realize that we do not have the staff to remove and dispose of these items, but we make every effort to maintain our beautiful churchyard and Sanctuary in keeping with the sacred trust placed upon us.
We appreciate the cooperation of all our parishioners, their relatives, and friends who have loved ones in our care. Your assistance is appreciated. Please share this note with friends in the area who may not see this notice.
We ask that all decorations be removed by Ash Wednesday, February 14th. Thank you.

Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World 4 Lenten Suppers & Discussion

201802 anxious for nothingMark your calendars and join us for our four Lenten Suppers & Discussion! They are scheduled on Sunday, February 18 and 25th, March 11 and 18th from 4:30-6:30.

A light supper of soup, salad and bread will be served, followed by a video and discussion on Max Lucado’s book: “Anxious For Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World”. We have purchased a number of books that will help aid in discussion. We encourage participants to purchase the workbook for $6.00. Sign-ups and workbook will be available at Coffee Hours.
We will also have sign-ups for soup, salads, desserts, and helpers.
